Urban Outfitters Press Day A/W 12

Popped out in my lunch break to check out the Urban Outfitters AW 12 press day held in the rather beautiful setting of Dean Street Townhouse.

Love this oversized leopard ring

Some rather beautiful Liberty x Dr.Marten co-labs that need to be added to my shoe collection pronto. Imagine these teemed with some patterned/floral socks, floral on floral can never be a bad thing….

This is a Cambridge Satchel exclusive that I picked the colours for - so happy how it turned out.

Black and white knitted dress that I designed.

Love love love this pastel blue coat by Antipodium.

Some great new own Label bags like this studded one were also on display. Now all you have to do is wait till the Autumn to get your hands on these pieces.

Crop it

Wearing a top I designed for Urban Outfitters (I would add a link but it has sold out - think we will get some more soon) with a skull necklace my friend Natasha bought me, a gun necklace I made from a piece of Cluedo and a lion necklace from Accessorize.

Recent purchases include a mini Cambridge satchel embossed with my initials, Diptyque perfume, Sophie Hulme dinosaur charm, UO earrings and some champagne truffles that were a gift from our amazing intern at work - Roxy.

Snap

This week I stayed at Sabina’s so did a lot of outfit recycling. Wearing my favourite Urban trilby, UO coat, vintage scarf, riding jodphurs (they are the same pair I wear when I go horse riding) Chanel bag, UO boots with ebay harness. Second picture is pretty much the same except i’m wearing my TBA blazer.

After Dark

Wearing Urban Outfitters cardigan, vintage dress, my horse riding jodphurs and chelsea boots.

Tim Barber

Really like the summery feeling in this shoot by Tim Barber for Urban Outfitters. I am bored of this freezing cold weather - bring on the sunshine!!

Berlin Outfits

Here are some pics of what I wore during my trip to Berlin. It was freezing cold so I layered up loads. Hat, gloves, scarf- you name it…these pics were taken in the apartment we stayed in which was nice and warm so I had a chance to rid myself of my tent-like coat.

Wearing Vintage Akris dress from a carboot sale, ribbon tie, topshop socks over some tights and Jones bootmaker chelsea boots.

Petit Bateau striped top, Topshop leather trousers from my friend Holly and some Nikes.

UO hat, vintage scarf (worn underneath), Cat Flag T-shirt, UO cardigan, 2nd hand skirt from Cara, Chelsea boots.

A-Line

Wearing a jersey body from UO, Topshop Suede Skirt and Pied a Terre ankle boots.

Amsterdam

I have just got back from Berlin so thought I better catch up and do a little post of Amsterdam which I visited with Blue just before christmas.

I loved it. The Canal area and Jordaan was where we walked around most - the streets are all so pretty with beautiful shops - tonnes of cosy pubs and I love the fact that everyone cycles everywhere.

Wearing UO headband, N.Peal cardi, Alice by Temperley scarf, A.A. hoodie, vintage skirt, Orla Kiely tights, Jones bootmaker chelsea boots.

Some pictures I took in the hotel we stayed at which was called, ‘Cake Under My Pillow’ unfortunately not named because there was cake under my pillow but due to the fact that it was above a cake shop.

A little guide to my favourite places in Amsterdam.

Vliegende Schotel
This was a really nice organic vegetarian restaurant - the food was so good…

Da Portare Via

Le Liegracht 34

Singel

Nice Bar
Keizersgracht 157

De Zotte
On Runstraat
A huge selection of different beers- I am not really a beer drinker but they had a really good strawberry one.

The two markets I went to were Waterlooplein where I bought a few pieces ( a girl at a vintage store told me the sometimes leave lots of clothes after the market has ended so its worth checking out for some free bits- normally around 6pm when they pack up.)

Noodermarket was really nice too with a mix of food stalls and a few vintage ones where I got some high waisted check trousers for 5euros which was a pretty good deal.
